I coordinate student services for the adult undergraduate and graduate programs and serve as the academic advisor for online students pursuing degrees in business, allied health, and religious studies programs. It is my hope that our team can make the decision to pursue your degree a little less stressful by offering you support from the point you become a student at Mount Mercy University until graduation day.

I have been at Mount Mercy since 2014. I received my Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Oklahoma State University and my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Middle School Education from the University of Northern Iowa. My husband and three children keep me busy, but when I find a few free moments, I enjoy cooking, baking (homemade bread is the best), reading, and gardening.

My role at Mount Mercy is as the academic advisor to students in undergraduate adult accelerated programs.  I look forward to helping you successfully transition into your MMU education, whether you are a brand new student, a transfer student, or a returning student who has taken some time away from the classroom.  We can work together to put together a plan to complete your degree in a way that works for you.

I received my M. Ed. in Higher Education – Student Affairs and my BA in Advertising, both from Iowa State University and have worked in academic advising roles since 2002.  When I’m away from work, I enjoy spending time with my two children, reading, and planning our next family road trip.
