Books, DVD’s, and journal articles owned by other United States libraries may be requested through Interlibrary Loan. Although a free service, ILL requests are limited to scholarly research needs. Journal articles usually arrive within a week, while books often take longer. The lending library’s assigned due date spans three weeks to a full term and is determined by its respective policy. Complete a separate online form for each desired article, book, or DVD not owned by Busse Library. The online Interlibrary Loan form is conveniently included within a drop-down menu at the top of this page. This same online ILL request form is available on the Busse Library webpage; various databases supply a direct link to submit an ILL request.
